The creative force behind the design company originates from the talents and expertise of Robert Studer and Beth Hawthorn. They formed this is it in 1996, then in 2003, joined forces with other local designers and established the BARK Design Collective, a non-profit organization whose mandate is to uplift the profile of contemporary Canadian design. In their first year, BARK organized and exhibited the works of over 35 Canadian Designers in Tokyo Japan, London England and here at home in Vancouver. |
