| mono is a series of modern clothing and accessories, which explores the space between art, craft, design and fashion. Within this space there are places for people to connect, culture to flourish and movement to inspire. mono never sacrifices quality, process or innovation to the expectations of convention. Instead, with each series, mono dares to follow an original concept through to completion. The designer, Heather Martin, is deeply rooted in the local Vancouver art and design community. She designs and manufactures the mono line, works freelance with select local design companies and teaches fashion and textiles at Vancouver Community College. |
