Cause+Affect created Movers & Shapers in 2004 after recognizing a dearth of public forums showcasing Canada’s design culture. Our goal with Movers & Shapers is to highlight the designers challenging the status quo, inform the public about their work, and thereby create a cultural shift towards design across Canada. This exhibition provides a mainstream venue for the fresh ideas and creations of Vancouver's next generation of designers.

The passion and confidence shown by these designers is to be admired not ignored, encouraged not stifled, and most of all, it should be supported.
