VISION
In 2009, Cause+Affect was engaged to create the brand and communication materials for what would become Vancouver’s most talked about boutique hotel. With only 4 suites of over 2400sf each, a glass bottom rooftop pool and a ground floor member’s bar, The Keefer is an extremely unique experience requiring brand materials that are both exclusive and elusive.
SOLUTION
The core identity was developed with a logo and a mark within a palette of warm blacks. The mark would be used in locations where a level of exclusivity was needed such as building signage. Custom photography was developed to support the inaugural brochure and website, featuring snapshots of interior scenes. Each scene capturing the mood of the hotel without giving away too much of the experience.
RESULT
The Keefer has opened to become Vancouver’s most talked about private residences. The property has hosted royalty, celebrity and continues to set the bar for high quality, carefully curated, hospitality.
