VISION
Volkswagen, Canada engaged Cause+Affect to help the car maker evolve into the “green space”. Volkswagen was looking to move outside their traditional car show environments and were in need of a communication strategy and brand experience that resonated with a conscious consumer audience.


SOLUTION
As a clear alternative to traditional automobile marketing experiences, we developed the Green Guts campaign, focused around the release of their Jetta TDI Clean Diesel. The campaign included the design of consumer show exhibitions in Vancouver and Toronto. The exhibition experience included custom designed brochures, ambassador t-shirts and a special VIP launch party creating a holistic VW branded green experience.


RESULT
Feedback was extremely positive from visitors including local dealers who showed great interest in bringing the Green Guts experience out of the show environment and onto the dealership floor. Following the campaign, we began to look at individual dealerships in order to improve the level of consumer engagement and brand appreciation.
