VISION
Cause+Affect was hired by The GLOBE Foundation of Canada to create what became Vancouver’s first major “green” consumer experience. Cause+Affect identified an emerging consumer lifestyle that involved consumption without guilt, style without sacrifice and quality instead of quantity.


SOLUTION
In 2006, We named this sophisticated green consumer EPIC: Ethical Progressive Intelligent Consumer and went about working with The Globe Foundation to create a brand and experience that rejected many of the pre-existing “green industry” symbols, stereotypes and communication techniques. The brand was future focused, red, bold, and modern. The brand writing was intelligent, inspirational and never apologized.


RESULT
A globally influential brand was launched with its first Sustainable Living Expo in 2007. To support our development of the brand, we worked with Globe’s in-house marketing team to design all aspects of the event experience including sponsorship brochures, marketing materials, environmental graphics and architectural features of the interior. The event continues to grow and looks to expand globally in the near future.
